Bridal shower gift bingo turns the gift opening into a game for everyone in the room, not just the bride and whoever sits closest. Each card shows the presents that often fill a wedding registry: a stand mixer, wine glasses, bath towels, a cookbook, a cutting board, a toaster, a cake stand, a bathrobe. Guests mark each one as it comes out of the box, and the first full line wins. The look is soft and pretty, so it sits well on a brunch table or a garden party setup.

Bridal shower gift bingo tips
Match the grid to the size of the gift pile. Around fifteen presents suits a 3x3 or 4x4 card; a 5x5 needs a big shower, or guests will still be waiting on a line when the last box is open.
Duplicate gifts happen, so decide early how they count. If the bride opens three candles, the candle square gets marked once. Kitchen sets need a ruling too: does a gift basket with oven mitts, measuring cups and a kitchen apron mark one square or three? Write the answer on a card at the gift table.
The maid of honor often keeps a gift list for thank-you notes. Have her read each item aloud as she writes it down, using the card's wording, so a winning line can be checked against her list instead of anyone's memory.
Play on after the first line for a blackout round, since the bride is often only halfway through the pile when someone calls bingo. Keep both prizes small and useful: a nice tea tin, a jar of local honey, or a bottle of sparkling cider.
Seat the bride where everyone can see her hands, facing the room rather than tucked in a corner beside the gift pile. Gift bingo only works when guests can see what comes out of the tissue paper.
Best for
Ages
Adults 18 and up, including wedding party members and family
Group size
8 to 30 guests, one card per guest
Duration
20 to 40 minutes during the gift opening
How to play
No caller: players mark a square when they see the item around them. The first full line wins, so keep the cards until the end of the trip or the walk.
